Zömök Tomato Seeds

Info: The Zömök tomato is an old Hungarian variety which ripens very early. The plants grow up to 150 cm, are robust and very high-yielding. The medium-sized, round to oval, red fruits, which weigh up to 100 g, grow on luxuriant panicles. They are flavourful and best suitable for salads and for fresh consumption.

Care: You can grow the Zömök tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
