Moneymaker Tomato Seeds
Info: The Moneymaker Tomato is an old variety of greenhouse tomato from England and a popular and reliable producer of smooth, red, medium-sized fruits (40 - 60g) with an excellent flavour. The fruits are burst-resistant, slightly thick-skinned and therefore easy to preserve, fleshy and have a little bite. They are suitable as salad tomatoes and for sauces and boiling down. The plants grow up to 250 cm high and should be regularly pinched off.
Care: You can grow the Moneymaker tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
