Red Alert Tomato Seeds

Info: Red Alert is an early, very productive bush tomato. Since the plants remain relatively small, they are also ideal for pot culture on the balcony or terrace. It forms up to eight single shoots with a large number of red cocktail tomatoes. They are ideal for decorating and as a splash of color in the salad.

Care: You can grow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. Cover the seeds only slightly with soil (max. 5 mm). The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
