Chocolate Pear Tomato Seeds

Information: `Chocolate Pear` Tomato is a great variety with small pearshaped tomatos with interesting colours: they are Light red, overlaid with swirls of varying hues of green or brown. The fruits are firm and juicy and have the rich tomato flavour that has made heirlooms so popular. They are ideal as a splash of colour in the salad or simply for snacking directly from the bush. They have a very long season and can be harvested until the first frost.

Care: You can grow tomatoes at home, in a greenhouse or outside. Cover seeds only slightly with soil. Optimum germinating temperature is between 20°C and 25°C, germination takes place after 5-15 days. You can accelerate germination by priming them overnight in a damp cloth. The young plant should not be planted outside until after the last frost.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised permeable soil, which is kept damp (but not wet!). They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered place with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, if not more.
