Tondino Giallo Tomato Seeds
Info: The Tondino Giallo tomato is a beautiful orange-yellow cocktail tomato from Italy. The plants need staking and are resistant against common fungal diseases. The plants are vigorous and prolific and produce many fruits with true yellow to pale orange skin and yellow flesh. Tomatoes weigh 10-20 grams with a flavor that is surprisingly pleasant with a great sweet and acidity balance. They are suitable for fresh use as well as for cooking and preserving.
Care: You can grow the Tondino Giallo tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
