Large Cherry Tomato Seeds
Info: The Large Cherry tomato is, as one would assume from its name, a rather large cherry tomato with fruits that can grow to the size of a golf ball. The plants grow up to 2 metres and produce a large amount of red cherry tomatoes weighing up to approx. 35 g which grow on rich panicles. They have a full, intense flavour with a lot of sweetness. They are particularly suitable for salads or for direct consumption. It is also popular to preserve them as whole tomatoes.
Care: You can grow the Large Cherry tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
