Small Red Cherry Tomato Seeds

Info: The Small Red cherry tomato is one of the best cherry tomatoes on the market. The plants grow up to 90 to 150 cm in height and produce many small red fruits on long panicles. The tomatoes are flavourful, sweet and juicy - exactly as one would wish a cherry tomato to be. They are most suitable for eating straight from the bush, or in a crunchy salad. As the plants don`t grow to be particularly large, they are also good for cultivation in pots on the balcony or terrace.

Care: You can grow the Small Red Cherry tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
