Gardeners Delight Tomato Seeds

Info: The Gardeners Delight tomato is a popular, extremely sweet and very delicious cherry tomato which produces many of the small, red fruits. They have a sweet-sour flavour and are suitable for salads and for snacking on. The skin is burst-resistant, so the tomatoes can be easily stored. The plants reach a height of up to 180cm, should be grown on the stake and regularly pinched off.

Care: You can grow the Gardeners Delight tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.

Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
