Azoychka Tomato Seeds
Info: The Azoychka tomato is an old, Russian and relatively early ripening beefsteak tomato. Numerous beautiful yellow to orange coloured, flat round and lightly furrowed fruits grow on the medium-sized plants. They are thin-skinned and fleshy. They have a fantastic, sweet flavour with a slight lemon note and a very balanced sweetness and sourness. Due to their fine flavour, the tomatoes are perfect for fresh consumption as well as for sauces and for boiling down.
Care: You can grow the Azoychka tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
