Condors Beak Chili Seeds
Info: The Condors Beak Chili is from Peru, and gets its name due to its similarity in shape with a Condor`s beak. The approx. 80 cm large, bushy plants develop many of the very hot and highly flavourful fruits. When ripening, these display a beautiful colour sequence on the bush: from green to purple and pastel yellow to orange and deep red. They are suitable for cooking, drying and stuffing (they can also be a pretty gift for chili fans due to their beautiful colour sequence).
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating pad is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
Tips for successful chili cultivation can be found in our Chili Cultivation Instructions and in the Chili Diary.
