Chile De Árbol Chili Seeds
Information: The Chile de árbol originates from Mexico and is slightly less hot than the cayenne chili, although it is otherwise very similar in terms of colour and appearance. The name “de árbol” means “from trees”, alluding to its tree-like growth form with a small, woody trunk.
The approximately 7cm long peppers turn red as they ripen, they are thin and of a medium size, thanks to their thin outer walls they are also well-suited to drying out. This is the main reason why they are usually sold in their dried form in Mexico. They have a slightly smoky flavour and taste fantastic in stews and other hearty dishes.
Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-20 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised permeable soil and should not be left in standing water. They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered place with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, if not more. Place the plants outside around 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. When you plant the seedlings outdoors, take care to leave at least 40-50cm of space between each plant.

Super
Die Pflanzen sind sehr hoch geworden (bis 1,80 m), damit hatte ich nicht gerechnet und die in einen Blumenkasten gepflanzt. Aber hoher Ertrag, alle grünen Früchte reifen noch nach.
