Thai Sun Chili Seeds
Info: The Thai Sun Chili belongs to the species Capsicum frutescens and produces hundreds of small, upright and immensely hot red chillies. The bushes relatively small bushes (about 50 cm in height) are highly branched, and very suitable for pot cultivation. The leaves are variegated in green and purple and the fruits ripen from purple to green to red, which makes them a nice splash of colour in the garden. The tasty and very hot little chillies are well suited for delicious dips and hot sauces. Because of their thin fruit walls they are also suitable for (air) drying.
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
