Thai Ladyfinger Chili Seeds
Info: The Thai Ladyfinger Chili is a traditional Thai Chili, which should not be missing in Thai cooking. On the large, up to 1.20 meters tall bushes grow lots of up to 10 cm long, thin and red peppers. They have an excellent, slightly flowery chili flavour and a fiery heat. Ripe Thai Ladyfinger chillies are very thin-walled and thus highly suitable for drying. Also for Asian cuisine, they are indispensable.
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
You can find plenty of useful tips for successfully growing chili plants in our Chili Growing Guide and in the Chili Journal.
