Brazilian Starfish Chili Seeds
Info: The Brazilian Starfish is a Capsicum baccatum variety and grows very large and branched with large leaves, as is typical for this type. The shape of the fruits is reminiscent of star shaped UFOs or small starfish - hence its name. The chillies ripen to a bright red and develop a powerful spiciness together with a sweet and fruity flavour. They are suitable for fresh consumption and for cooking, pickling and drying.
Care: The germination temperature is between 21 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
