Dragons Back Chili Seeds
Info: This chili is named after the mountain Dragon`s Back, which is located south of Hong Kong. It is a beautiful mountain of terraces that have been cut into the mountain sides, hundreds of years ago to grow rice.
The Dragons Back is located along the Li River near Guilin and curves majestically around the contours of the mountains like the scales of a dragon`s back.
These chilli`s are some of the most sought after in China, and the Guilin area has the reputation of making the best local chilli sauce. The pods are full of flavour and of a medium heat they are the perfect all round chilli for so many dishes.
Plants are easy to grow and produce lots of mild to medium hot pods.
Care: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 30°C (germination period: 6-20 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised permeable soil and should not be left in standing water. They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered place with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, if not more. Place the plants outside around 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
