Peperoncini a Mazzi Chili Seeds
Info: These very beautiful and high yielding chillies originate from Sardinia. The relatively small, bushy plants produce a variety of small, long chillies (approx. 1 x 4 cm) which ripen from green to yellow-orange to red in a beautiful colour sequence. In English, “Mazzi” means “bundle” or “bunch”, and these eye-catching peppers grow in small bundles. They have a medium level of spiciness and a fantastic flavour, and are suitable for cooking, for making sauces and for drying.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
You can find plenty of useful tips for successfully growing chili plants in our Chili Growing Guide and in the Chili Journal.
