Info: The Pimiento Najerano Chili is a very large red pepper wihtout heat from Spain. It origins from the region Nájera and is sold fresh in the Spanisch marketsor offered canned. The bushy plants bear lots of exceptionally large, conical fruits which can get up to 18 cm long. The fruit walls are thick and juicy and their taste is very delicious and sweet. They are particularly suitable for pickling, filling or grilling.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
