Tricolor Chili Seeds
Info: The Tricolor Chili from the Netherlands is a delicious pointed pepper with a mild level of spiciness. The approx. 80 cm, bushy plants are very high yielding and are suitable for growing outdoors. The approx. 3 x 12 cm long peppers ripen in a beautiful colour sequence from green to orange to red. They are juicy and flavourful and are particular suitable for stuffing or pickling. They are also excellent for fresh consumption, for salads as well as cooking and grilling.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (8 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. If you plant them outdoors, the plants should have a distance between them of 45 cm.
Tips for successful chili cultivation can be found in our Chili Cultivation Instructions and in the Chili Cultivation Diary.
