Kashmir Chili Seeds
Info: Along with the Bhut Jolokia, the Kashmir Chili is the most well-known Chili variety in India. The chilies are cultivated not only in Kashmir, but across the whole of India. Numerous long, winding chillies, which have a velvety smooth taste with a light sweetness and a moderate level of spiciness, grow on the bushy, approx. 75 cm large plants. This variety can be made into a fine deep red chili powder, and is one of the best Cayenne varieties around. This variety is excellent when dried and made into a powder. It is also good for cooking and seasoning.
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 21 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
Tips for successful chili cultivation can be found in our Chili Cultivation Instructions and in the Chili Diary.

Ich habe dieses Jahr über 10 Sorten Chilis angebaut und die Keimrate war geschätzte 80% . Bei dieser und einer anderen Sorte war sie jedoch 0! Deshalb leider keine Kaufempfehlung.
