Lombok Orange Small Chili Seeds
Info: The Lombok Orange Small Chili originates from Indonesia and is a very mild chili with fruits that look like small carrots. The plants are bushy, reach up to 85cm in height and are very high yielding. The chilies ripen to a full orange and are very flavourful with a slightly sweet taste. They are suitable for fresh consumption, in salads, as snacks, for pickling, stuffing and grilling. An excellent paprika powder can be made from the dried fruits.
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 und 28°C (8 - 21 day germination period), therefore the use of agreenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
Tips for successful chili cultivation can be found in our Chili Cultivation Instructions and in the Chili Diary.
