Beetroot Bona Seeds
Info: The beetroot Bona is a medium-early, high-yielding strain. It forms smooth, round, uniformly shaped beets. The beets have an intense, red pulp. Due to its high fruit sugar content, this variety has a wonderfully sweet taste and is ideal as a vegetable garnish or salad.
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can be done outdoors from April. Sowing depth should be about 2-3cm. A row spacing of 30 x 10cm and a planting distance of 10cm required. Beetroot is a very undemanding vegetable and makes little demands on the ground. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, slightly permeable soil is optimal. The soil must have a constant moisture during the entire growth phase.
