Beetroot Bolthardy Seeds
Info: The beetroot "Boltardy" is a very popular and reliable spherical beetroot that was introduced in the early 1960s. The variety forms uniformly shaped, medium sized beets with tender, deep red flesh. It impresses with its fresh, sweet taste and is ideal as a vegetable garnish or salad.
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can be done outdoors from April. Sowing depth should be about 2-3cm. A row spacing of 30 x 10cm and a planting distance of 10cm required. Beetroot is a very undemanding vegetable and makes little demands on the ground. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, slightly permeable soil is optimal. The soil must have a constant moisture during the entire growth phase.
