Broad Bean Masterpiece Seeds
Info: Masterpiece is a very popular, classic and high-yielding broad bean. It makes long, green pods each with up to seven beans. The plants are extremely robust and can cope with almost all weather conditions. Therefore, it is also ideal for rough situations. Freezing and preserving is easily possible with this variety. Very tasty as a salad or blanched beans.
Sowing & cultivation: Broad beans are best suited to a cool climate, so sowing can start from end of March to May outdoors. Before sowing, soak the seeds in water for one day. Sow in rows 50 cm apart 4 - 6 cm deep, 20 cm apart in the row. Broas beans need a good, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny location.
