Pumpkin Mini Muscat Seeds

Info: The pumpkin Mini Muscat is the small version of the famous `Musquée de Provence`. The Mini Muscat has an excellent taste and forms flat-round, ribbed fruits that weigh about 1-5 kg. The fruits are initially dark green and later change colour to a beige-orange with bright orange flesh. In France, cut wedges are sold in supermarkets and farmers` markets for cooking.

Sowing & cultivation: Pumpkin plants need a lot of space as creeping plants and a good nutrient supply. The soil should therefore be profound and nutritious. From mid-May can be sown directly into the open field. Depending on the variety a plant needs up to 2m² of space. Abundant irrigation is very important, especially in the beginning. A typical pumpkin problem are snails. Try as protection a thick ring of sawdust around the young plant. It should be fertilized with a few horns, four weeks later with full fertilizer. The harvest begins in September and lasts until the frost.
