Compost Accelerator with Guano

This Compost Accelerator with guano is an effective rotting helper made from natural raw materials that supports and accelerates the production of humus from organic garden and kitchen waste.

APPLICATION/DOSAGE

Loosely pile up the waste in layers of 15-20 cm height. Sprinkle each layer with 150-200 g of Compost Accelerator and cover thinly with soil - better still with finished compost. Use a little more Compost Accelerator if there is a higher proportion of compost materials that are difficult to decompose, such as shrub cuttings and woody materials.
Spreading quantity: two handfuls correspond to just under 200 g.

Materials for composting:
Garden waste such as dry leaves, grass clippings, prunings, soil residues, all green waste from healthy plants, straw, manure from cows, poultry and small animals. Kitchen scraps such as fruit and vegetable trimmings, cut flowers, potato and egg shells, coffee grounds, tea leaves, cellulose (in moderation and moisten well), leftovers from tropical fruits such as banana peels (for citrus fruits in moderation or better not at all), wood ash (only for untreated wood).

Do not put into the compost:
Glass, plastic, metal, etc., food scraps, meat, bread and baked goods (because of mice, rats, vermin), paper from glossy magazines, sweepings, bones, leaves and plant parts from diseased plants, coal ash (heavy metals)

Composting tips

• If possible, compost in a shady spot protected from the wind
• Chop up coarse waste and mix well
• Always keep compost moist
• Repeated turning speeds up the rotting process
• Protect from too much rain, snow and heat.
