The Beckmann organic balcony and tub plant fertilizer contains high-quality raw materials of pure plant origin permissible for organic cultivation according to EU organic regulations. In addition, ground and squeezed seed parts of the Indian neem tree, called Neem-Cake.

Neem cake is a versatile natural substance that is traditionally used in India. Its fertilizing and plant-strengthening properties are relied upon there. Neem-Cake is a proven organic fertilizer that contains all the main nutrients, organically bound trace nutrients and residual amounts of neem oil. In addition, neem improves fertilizer longevity by minimizing shear release and thus losses of the main nutrient, nitrogen. Positive side effect: plants fertilized with neem cake can have a deterrent effect on pests, i.e. biting and sucking insects.

Application/DOSAGE

Fertilizing planting soil
Mix fertilizer with potting soil before planting.

For pre-fertilized potting soil:
Mix in 9 g/liter of potting soil.
This is equivalent to approximately 1 yogurt cup (YC) for 60 cm, 1.5 YC for 80 cm and 2 YC 100 cm balcony boxes.

For non-prefertilized potting soil:
Mix in 14 g/liter of potting soil.
This corresponds to about 1.5 yogurt cups (YC) for 60 cm long balcony boxes, 2 YC for 80 cm, 3 YC for 100 cm.

Fertilization in existing plantings
Perennials, bedding and grave plantings:
Spread and lightly hoe in about 110 g/m² each spring and late summer.

Trees and shrubs:
In spring and late summer, spread approx. 70 g/m² each in the area of the crown eaves and lightly hoe in.

Provide sufficient moisture in the days following fertilization. One yogurt cup corresponds to approx. 150 g of fertilizer.
