FRESH BOX Growing Set Herbs

The FRESH-BOX from Romberg contains a complete starter set for growing herbs and seeds in 5 herb varieties. Herbs are not only healthy, provide many important nutrients and increase the feeling of well-being, they also give hot and cold dishes a particularly fresh and unusual flavour.

The seed pots are ideal for sowing. They are 100% peat-free, biodegradable and PEFC certified. Allow the soil to swell according to the instructions and fill the pots to approx. 1 cm below the rim. Then sow the seeds. Light sprouts are placed directly on the potting soil and only minimally covered with soil. For dark sprouts, press holes into the soil with the spade, place individual seeds in them and fill the holes with soil again. Place the pots in a tray or a propagator/greenhouse. Then water and keep the soil well moist. The spade is subsequently used to mark the seed. It can be labelled with a fine, waterproof pen and also has small hooks for attaching plant labels. The ready-filled seed pots should ideally be placed indoors in a bright and warm, but not full-sun location. As soon as the young plants have formed strong shoots, they can be separated with the picket and, depending on their sensitivity to cold, placed in larger pots outside or directly in the garden bed. Don`t forget to water the young plants once more before moving them.
