Wheat Grass Sieve from Eschenfelder 23 cm, white
Harvest health every day - with the wheat grass sieve from Eschenfelder
Incl. wheat seed from regional organic farming, sufficient for one sieve.
The decorative white bowl made of very high-quality ceramics with coarse-meshed stainless steel sieve is ideal for the simple cultivation of cereal grass from wheat, rye and kamut without soil. The ceramic from German manual work in top quality is highly fired with 1220 °C, waterproof, it contains no health or environmental-endangering components and is completely food-safe matte white glazed.
The shell, in which the roots grow, simulates the soil and protects against the consequences of the incidence of light and against warming. Due to its height, the strong roots have the necessary space for healthy growth.
The harvest of one sieve results in approx. 3-5 daily portions of grass/root juice.
The edge protection of the stainless steel sieve is made of food-safe PE.
The stainless steel sieve (without edge protection) and the ceramic bowl are dishwasher safe.
Growing wheatgrass
A sieve requires about 70-80 g wheat grains, from which wheat germ buds are first grown. For this we recommend the Eschenfelder sprout glass: The wheat grains are first soaked for 8 to 12 hours and then rinsed twice a day with fresh water.
After approx. 2-3 days, the seedling and root of the wheat grains are about half a centimetre long and can now be evenly distributed on the wheatgrass sieve. After 12-14 days the grass has grown to a height of 12 to 15 cm and can be harvested with scissors. The optimum time for harvesting is shortly before the grass begins to fade. The grass and roots are pressed into fresh juice immediately after harvesting.
