Flowering Tobacco Nicotiana Affinis Alba Seeds

Info: Flowering Tobacco (Nicotiana Affinis) Alba delivers stunning displays of long trumpet diamond white flowers on tall stems from robust attractively foliaged plants. The flowers are highly fragrant especially into evening and will flower almost until the first frost from Mid Jun onwards. It is ideal for borders, pots and baskets. This species is native to tropical South America and not winter-hardy.

Sowing & care: Sow indoors from March or outdoors from May on after all danger of frost has passed. Barely cover seeds with 1-2 mm of fine soil or simply press firmly into growing medium. Harden off gradually and plant out displays after all danger of frost has passed. Nicotiana grows best in full sun in average, well-drained soil but will tolerate light shade. The plants can be overwintered in a bright place at approx. 10°C.
