Organic Aji Pineapple Chili Seeds
Info: The Aji Pineapple Chili is from the Capsicum baccatum species and gets its name due to its yellow colour and the fruity flavour of its peppers, which is slightly reminiscent of pineapple. Typical for this type is the branched and protruding growth with a high yield. The fruits are long, approx. 2 x 10 cm, and ripen to a beautiful lemon yellow. Due to their fruity flavour they are suitable for hot sauces and salsa, as well as for fresh consumption and for drying.
Care: The germination temperature is between 21 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
