Attilla Chili Seeds
Information: The Attila chilli probably originates from Hungary, where it is often used in the well-known Pustza pot. The chilli produces beautiful, bright yellow pods of around 3 - 6 cm in size. The chillies have a paprika-like flavour with a peppery note and a pleasant heat.
The chillies are ideal for pustza pots, other stews, for use in sauces or for powder.
Care: The germination temperature is between 22 and 28 °C (12 - 21 days germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, well-drained soil and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be placed in a full sun, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more. Place the plants outside at the earliest approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. If you cultivate the plant in a pot, you can overwinter it. To do this, you may need to cut it back a little and place it in a bright spot with a temperature of at least 15°C.
You can find plenty of useful tips for successfully growing chili plants in our Chili Growing Guide and in the Chili Journal.
