Black Puma Chili Seeds
Information: The Bombay Morich Long originally comes from Bombay, India. It is the ideal chilli for balconies or patios, as it can grow up to 60 cm tall in a pot and bear a large number of 5 - 6 cm fruits. The chillies change colour from dark green to juicy red and look simply beautiful with their long, broad, bright pods.
Compared to the related species Naga Morich, the Bombay Morich is significantly sweeter, has thicker walls and slightly less heat. This chilli completely lacks the typical bitterness of the Morich.
Care: Germination temperature is between 24°C and 30°C (germination period: 8 - 14 days); it is therefore recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised permeable soil and should not be left in standing water. They should be placed in a sunny, sheltered place with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, if not more. The earliest time to place the plants outside is 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. If grown in plant pots, you can also take care of them through the winter. It might be necessary to cut them back slightly and place them in a light place where it is at least 15°C.
